In a packed house at Apple’s New York City flagship store, Apple CEO Tim Cook welcomed Pitt, and the actor greeted the ecstatic fans by sharing how “excited” he is for audiences to see “F1 The Movie,” as it is the “most visceral racing film ever made.” Cook highlighted that this is a must-see film for all, while also spotlighting the Apple iPhone camera technology utilized in the film, reinforcing that “it was important for us to be authentic to the sport and really capture that immersive feeling of being in the car.” The captivating “F1 the Movie” trailer, featuring the film’s spectacular, immersive experience that puts viewers directly on the track, played as the event ended. Pitt and Cook’s surprise appearance followed a lively panel discussion with “Severance” stars and executive producers Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette and Britt Lower, alongside cast members Tramell Tillman, Dichen Lachman and Jen Tullock. Thirty years later, he’s a nomadic racer-for-hire when he’s approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling FORMULA 1 team that is on the verge of collapse. Ruben convinces Sonny to come back to FORMULA 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world.
