Apple TV+ series nominated for four SAG Awards

Apple TV+ has garnered significant recognition from the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), with four nominations across two of its original series. The acclaimed spy thriller “Slow Horses” and the hit comedy “Shrinking” have both earned nominations in key categories, highlighting the strength of Apple’s original programming.

Gary Oldman’s portrayal of Jackson Lamb in “Slow Horses” has earned him a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. This recognizes Oldman’s compelling performance as the cynical and unconventional leader of a team of MI5 rejects.

In the comedy category, Harrison Ford’s performance in “Shrinking” has been recognized with a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series. This marks a significant accolade for Ford’s foray into television comedy, showcasing his versatility as an actor.

Beyond individual performances, both series have received nominations for their ensemble casts. “Slow Horses” is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, acknowledging the strong performances of the entire cast, which includes Kristin Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden alongside Oldman.
