Public beta testers who have signed up for Apple’s public beta program can download tvOS 18.1 by opting into beta updates through the Settings app on their Apple TV. HomePod software can be downloaded through the Home app on their iPhone by tapping on the three dots in the upper right corner, choosing Home Settings, and then selecting Software Update. While tvOS software releases are typically less extensive than other operating system updates, focusing on smaller improvements rather than major changes, the specific details of tvOS 18.1 remain unknown.
