Alphabet subsidiary Google confirmed that it has entered a multiyear deal with Apple to power the company’s “Apple Intelligence” artificial intelligence technology, including the Siri voice assistant. “After careful evaluation, Apple determined that Google’s Al technology provides the most capable foundation for Apple Foundation Models and is excited about the innovative new experiences it will unlock for Apple users,” Google said Monday in a post on the X social media network.
