Disney announced on Tuesday that it has nominated Jeff Williams, former Chief Operating Officer of Apple, as an independent director candidate for election at its 2026 annual shareholder meeting. If approved, Williams’ election would expand Disney’s board to 11 members, effective upon the directors’ election at the meeting. Reuters:
