Taiwanese authorities detained three individuals suspected of stealing trade secrets from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), the world’s leading chip foundry, prosecutors announced on Tuesday. The detentions followed TSMC’s internal investigation, which revealed that former and current employees illegally acquired company information, according to the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office.
