Today, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Harvey Theater in New York, A24 and Apple Original Films hosted the world premiere for the highly anticipated feature “Highest 2 Lowest,” premiering exclusively in theaters on August 15 before streaming globally on Apple TV+ on September 5. Brothers Denzel Washington and Spike Lee reunite for the fifth time in their long working relationship for a reinterpretation of the great filmmaker Akira Kurosawa’s crime thriller “High and Low,” now played out on the mean streets of modern day New York City.
