Key changes include improved Mail app functionality, such as a toggle to disable contact photos and a more visible “All Mail” view, alongside a new Pride wallpaper and enhanced AppleCare information in Settings. With beta testing wrapping up, this update precedes the anticipated iOS 19 reveal at WWDC in June. Mark Gurman for Bloomberg News: ‎ The coming iOS 18.5 release isn’t the biggest “point update” you’ll see from Apple, but there are still some notable additions. For one, it’s now much easier to hit the “All Mail” button in the newly AI-upgraded Apple Mail app. Before, you had to swipe to reveal that tab, leaving things like the priority inbox and sections for emails about transactions and promotions more visible. Other new features include the company’s latest Pride wallpaper and the ability for parents to get a notification when children enter a Screen Time passcode into their devices. Some of Apple’s non-iOS platforms also got interesting tweaks.
