Just days after rolling out iOS 18.4 to all users and updating the AirPods Max with new firmware to enable lossless audio, Tim Cook’s Apple has revised its AirPods firmware page to state that the update is now “coming soon.” This is the second instance this week of the company retracting software following its release, having previously done the same with watchOS 11.4.
