Apple has enhanced its Sports app for iPhone by adding NASCAR coverage, just in time for the Daytona 500 race scheduled for Sunday, February 16th. The app also added MLB Spring Training coverage. Introduced in February 2024, the Apple Sports app provides users with scores, statistics, league standings, upcoming matches, and additional information for numerous sports leagues including the NFL, MLB, MLS, NBA, NHL, Premier League, and more. The app is available for free on the iPhone via the App Store. Apple Sports 2.5 release notes: • Start your engines! NASCAR is now on Apple Sports.
