Apple today previewed Apple Miami Worldcenter, offering a new destination for customers to discover and buy their favorite Apple products. Located in the vibrant downtown district of Miami, Apple Miami Worldcenter allows shoppers to conveniently and seamlessly upgrade to iPhone 16 by taking advantage of Apple Trade In, carrier activation, and personalized setup. Apple team members are ready to provide exceptional support, helping users explore the latest Apple Intelligence features and learn about new products through programs like Today at Apple — all at this uniquely designed location where everyone is welcome. “Miami is a city with a history, culture, and life all its own, and we are thrilled to capture that energy with Apple Miami Worldcenter in downtown Miami,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People, in a statement. “This new store brings Apple values to life in every detail, while celebrating the creativity of the city with an incredible lineup of in-store sessions. Our team can’t wait to welcome customers and share exceptional personal shopping and support experiences like only Apple can.” Apple Miami Worldcenter is built with the environment in mind using a regionally sourced mass timber structure and other low-carbon materials. Apple Miami Worldcenter also features a biophilic design that helps connect customers to the beautiful green spaces surrounding the store. Upon entry, customers and the local community are welcomed by the grounds blooming with plants and flora inspired by the multicultural Latin American influence of Miami. As part of Apple’s commitment to accessibility, the new store is centered on universal design principles and offers varied table and seating heights for product discovery and support, as well as access routes that give wheelchair users more space to navigate. For shoppers who use hearing aids, the store offers a portable hearing loop that can be used anywhere. And at the Today at Apple table, an assistive listening loop gives them the chance to tune in to the session, offering a more accessible customer experience. The new store offers the first dedicated Apple Pickup area in Miami, making it easier than ever for customers to buy online and collect their orders in-store at a time that’s convenient for them. Special Programming To celebrate the opening of the store, Apple Miami Worldcenter will offer customized Apple-led Today at Apple sessions highlighting the store’s environment-centered design and natural elements, as well as special Made for Business events led by small business owners. During opening weekend, customers can attend a Made for Business community event in partnership with Influur to connect with the in-store Business team and engage in hands-on learning and expand their use of Apple’s tools across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Visitors are invited to explore the surrounding display tables and avenues featuring the all-new lineup of iPhone 16, Mac, MacBook Pro, Mac mini powered by the M4 chip, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods models. The over 150-person store team helps customers learn about Apple products, and offers advice on monthly financing options and the Apple Trade In program. Apple Miami Worldcenter is Apple’s 10th store in Miami, and is part of Apple’s growing presence in Miami and across the region. In addition to the nearly 2,000 Apple team members across South Florida, Apple also has deep community connections through its social initiatives work, bringing educational and workforce opportunities to learners of all ages, including through a partnership with Miami Dade College. The team at Apple Miami Worldcenter will welcome its first customers on Friday, January 24, at 10 a.m. MacDailyNews Note: More info about Apple Miami Worldcenter here.
