Apple TV+ will expand its award-winning original series lineup with “Lucky,” a new limited drama set to star Golden Globe Award winner, SAG Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Anya Taylor-Joy (“The Queen’s Gambit,” “The Menu,” “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” and upcoming “The Gorge” and “Sacrifice”), who will also serve as executive producer. Annette Bening has officially signed on to the project. “Lucky” is based on the New York Times bestselling novel and Reese’s Book Club pick of the same name by Marissa Stapley. In “Lucky,” Taylor-Joy stars as a young woman who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past.
