South Korean dishwasher maker Samsung is once again copying Apple, this time with a Vision Pro knockoff codenamed “Project Moohan,” the first headset designed for Alphabet subsidiary Google’s Android XR, itself a knockoff of visionOS. The name “Moohan”, meaning “infinity” in Korean, connotes Samsung’s “belief in delivering immersive experiences within an infinite space.” Samsung promises its Fake Vision Pro will be “equipped with state-of-the-art displays, Passthrough capabilities and natural multi-modal input” in “lightweight, ergonomically optimized hardware designed to ensure maximum comfort during use.”

MacDailyNews Take: Samsung’s latest entry in its endless parade of half-assed Apple product knockoffs is expected to be peddled to the unwary in 2025. No official name (we wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if it were “Samsung Vision Pro”) or retail price have been disclosed.
