As iOS 18.1 approaches, it may be time to free up some space on your iPhone for Apple Intelligence. The new AI features will require 4GB of storage at launch, but this requirement may increase as additional features are released. Apple’s documentation states that Apple Intelligence will be available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, all iPhone 16 models, and iPad and Mac models with M1 and later. However, the initial storage requirement of 4GB is just a starting point. As more AI models are introduced, the storage needed could potentially double, reaching up to 8GB or more.
