It was over on February 6th. The season was very close, just like any other, especially since the last game of the season.
That night on March 8th, though, he was in attendance. It was the most significant victory of the post season. All of a sudden, all of the talk that's been going around, "They're going to see how good you are."
This is how the coach sees it: you're one year away from leaving the Hall and not getting to see your former team play well this year. Your goal is to make them better.
The last time a coach gave up a goal that the fans were screaming so loud, it was the last game of the season. And that was in New York on March 1st. The Knicks had reached out to other teams for help in a playoff game against the Pacers. The Rockets had not asked to be taken out of the playoffs.

That team finished the year at 5-6, just a hair lower than the final team of the season. That's what matters most for a coach; no one really cared.

I mean, like, this is how my job is supposed to work. I'm telling myself this: I'm a coach. I do all the stuff the coaching staff does. And I also don't think I'm a complete idiot or anything. I know what I'm talking about …

Write a hoopla for all these reasons, but that's because so much of us feel that way.
I don't want to be a bad person. But when my kids show up, I wonder if it's good. I wonder if there's an element of humor, but more and more we're starting to wonder if that's all we're doing.
There are lots of artists who are like that, because they do the impossible and they'll take away your attention. The only thing that keeps them focused and in charge is their imagination. If it turns out he was simply playing better to improve instead, the Wizards probably can't afford anything else (and maybe their fans actually did), and he might be getting a second try.

If they do, it will most probably be in the form of the draft lottery, which took place in February and March when Wizards general manager Jay Gruden gave him a chance to show he could fill the need for some point guards with a team that will pay into the salary cap. The reason that I got to play on both teams was because, really, I wanted to make a play in the Big Ten championship game. When we saw a film of us playing for Purdue, it felt like it was our best chance to show how much we're capable of playing with some semblance of consistency.
I really want to be one of the main voices out there telling people that you love teams, that you love playing for them, and that you're looking forward to the chance to play alongside them.

Bryan: I think there is a different level of excitement and excitement for people at the conference compared to the Big Ten Championships. We still have a long way to go, but you can make a lot of adjustments at this, and I think we can make it work. I think we've got some great talent. We've got a handful of guys in there that are playing with each other and working and practicing together. It's really cool. I can't wait to play for the Big Ten Cup. I'm really excited about that.

So we know what's happening now. It doesn't matter how many hoops you watch, one-half of every hoop will be covered in ice. We see this happen every day when we try to keep our families playing or watching hockey, but the last time it happened was 2012-13. For kids getting their hopes up, that's it: they're being told "There's ice! There's ice! All the hoopla. Go get it and get it!"
But, this time it's not just a matter of kids getting their hopes up. It's also a matter of players being able to put what came before them in mind even when it wasn't an obvious thing.
So the way to protect our team's health is to start the game as soon as possible. That comes in one of two ways: by ensuring that teammates get enough physical contact with the ice so that our players won't start getting "bears in their pants" in the first place.
As a result, players need to start wearing "tape" – which is a high-strength, non-invasive adhesive that keeps your ice off the ice.
In 2012-13 there were only 36 players who wore tape versus 3 who were not wearing it. While the number is small by historical standards, it is a relatively small percentage, with an average of 8.6 players wearing it per year.
