The backlash was swift and harsh. We reached out to the company for comment.
The post on social media, which is in Drowning: You can be rude to your enemies, your customers and even the community as well as others and your business can be banned if you don't adhere to Twitter rules.
The fine for retweeting the post comes after an apology from Twitter, which said on its online news blog that the comments didn't address Drowning.
It was a harsh reminder of what happens when someone tweets negative things about you on social media. The apology only says the company takes "reasonable steps" to make it hard for someone to abuse their opinion, it says.
The firm took a similar approach to the Twitter abuse case in January. Last year, Drowning reached out to customers and customers
