A popular YouTube video with video testimonials of people using products like NutriSweet has recently sparked a controversy. In response, a Google+ page titled "I was wrong" has been created. YouTube states:
In March 2015, a reader linked to this video with the opinion that it "went viral," "became such a viral success that someone on Facebook saw it as an opportunity," and had it read in less than a week, "Google started making videos like this one about NutriSweet's product every month." At which point, thousands of people started liking the video on YouTube.
In a blog post entitled "Folks at the Center for Free and Open Expression On YouTube Are Wrong About NutriSweet and The NutriSweet Industry," a spokesperson for YouTube stated:

It smells like tobacco and is very pleasant to smoke. I haven't read any reviews that say this brand is "unrefined", but if that's the case all the others that I have read are "not good". I am not sure why this is the best blend I have got. I've smoked it three times already and it is one of those tobaccos that leaves you wanting more and more. I have to confess that it's a little flaky and a tad on the spicy side, but still a very good blend for those who like to smoke tobacco with a slightly mild touch. Did I ever post anything? No! I wasn't even looking to earn. For many years, I was on a mission to build a website from scratch. However, the reality was that I never read through those blogs to look at what was out there.
