I always wait for Notebook check to test displays on devices before I look at a purchase. They have now published their verdict on the M1 iPad Pro and it does indeed use Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). For those that are sensitive this isn’t great news but unfortunately current Mini LED technology uses PWM in it’s screen dimming.

If you’re sensitive you’ll need to look elsewhere for your iPad needs.
