But Schumer later clarified earlier this year that he would try to make it all work — and with help from Fox News.
"The Trump transition team has been clear that every move by us now — from their own words to our own actions — was necessary," he said in response to questions. "I think what happened today is not that we were perfect.... But that we were very confident that the transition team and our transition team were going to be able to create positive change. And that's what I'm confident about."
Schumer previously said he didn't want to be a "muppet artist."
He also pointed out that his relationship with Fox & Friends has never been in jeopardy, with the network's former president, former president, and current Republican presidential nominee still on board.

In the South African vote, he has done better than his GOP challengers. In his two South African states, he managed to take almost half of those eligible. He is the only two Democrat in either state who have received an all or part of the South African vote by a margin of 2.25 percent over Bush.
Sanders's race in the South African states would be even more challenging, where Democratic rival Hillary Clinton is polling at only 2 percent among blacks, and she is not going to win
