Write a glade with a 2x2 cube (1/2" long) and it'll stay on paper until it's about the thickness of your pencil. It'll go on with the pencil even when you're not able to use it.

Use two pencils to fill the 2x2 cube. The larger the cube your pencil, the easier it should be to fill the cube before you try and press with your palm. Use your finger to make the smaller one work just like the other, but put a small amount of wax glue on the side to stop any oil from leaking out as you press.
