Place the needle in a plastic baggie

Place a tissue paper on top of the baggie. Insert the tissue paper into a cotton ball (the same type used in the sewing machine) and fill the baggie. Fill the baggie with silicone ink. This should go around for about a minute until you get a familiar sensation.
