Apple TV+ series ‘Where’s Wanda?’ offers pinch of ‘Twin Peaks’ eeriness – Reuters
Apple TV+’s first German original – ‘Where’s Wanda?’ – will premiere globally with the first two episodes on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, followed by one episode weekly through November 13. “Where’s Wanda?” tells the story of Dedo and Carlotta Klatt (Stein and Makatsch), who are desperate to locate their missing 17-year-old daughter Wanda (Drinda), who disappeared months ago without a trace. When the police fail to find her, the family takes matters into their own hands, obtaining surveillance devices with the help of their tech-savvy son Ole (Simon). Disguising themselves as employees of an electrical company, they bug their neighborhood and then half their suburb, finding out that behind closed doors, none of their neighbors are who they pretend to be.

Apple’s iPhone 16 shipping times are stabilizing and even extending – Morgan Stanley
Morgan Stanley analysts have reported that lead times for Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models are showing signs of stabilization and even extension. This development changes the narrative, as these models typically have shorter lead times compared to previous iPhone cycles. As of September 27th, the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max lead times remain relatively short but have shown a positive trend.
You cannot measure demand based on shipping times without knowing how much supply Apple has in hand (also vs. the previous year compare with iPhone 15 Pro supplies being constrained due to camera component yields) and where and how those supplies are allocated in each geographic area. We’ll take panicked dips that are wholly unsupported by solid data every single day of the week! We are currently about 1/5th of the way to being sustainable with Substack subscriptions.
